Some History of village BOTHOO

Bothu is situated in a dense forest of diverse every green and summergreen trees and bushes.It is near about 10kilometerse from district Headquarters "Bandipora ". In my village is a famous '"Ziyaarath Shireef; "HIZRAT BI BI SANG ARIEFA "(RH). Also called  *DED MOOJ*
HIZRAT Bibi Aarifa (RH) named this Village as  (BÕÔTH)  a place of sitting. The name is modify into "Bothu".A beautiful and charmfull village, it is the most popular place famous for its natural beauty. Bothu is a hilly area. Before 2011 there was no transport facilities. But, now there is a transport facility. The people living in the village practice of Islam. The total population of this Village is about 1300.
Bothu is divided five Habitations  (Mohallas) .the first Mohalla recently created is called (Jaffar Aabad),The second is  (Rzbal),third is  (Gamandar ),fourth is  (Herpora),And the fifth is (Gasul)
There are some beautiful place viz,;" PINOG PATHRI, Dodhpathri and Mawa etc.
Kol naar is a beautiful "(lake)"sar"the"sar"lies at the end of bothu.Water of "Kol-naar" is fresh and cold. In the forests of this Village BOTHOO many animals like, lion,bear,fox deer etc r found. Also a variety of birds r present in Bothu like  (Haam, Rôos , Kako,. wankukor")is one of the best birds in bothu.
In this Village there r two primary schools and one high school. It has an "Aanganwadi center"one "Dispensary ".There r four Masjid Also and

two "Madrasa "(Maqtab Taleemul Quran) in One is Gamandar and second is Rozbal

This village are extremely popular for its natural beauty

 Things become tough and nothing less than a hell to deal with, but Iin summer this Village is a Paradise on earthe .In short village bothu contains everything which makes life enjoyable and charming. Finally I can say that Bothu is really an attractive place. Thus I love my village BOTHOO  is too much!
