Physical aspects of our village Bhutto Bandipora

Bothoo is located up in the hill thousands of feet above the sea level, at distance of approximately 10kilometerse away from the district headquarters Bandipora. This village is being covered bushes , summergreen and evergreen forest. It is one of the hilly village where the large columns of hill is located. About 1300 people live in our village. The very name Bothoo  evoke visual of snow covered mountains stately Dewdaar trees,apple Orchard,walnut Orchard etc. A calm and quite place in the northern side of District Bandipore, away from the dim and noise of the cities It is a dream world whose beautiful nature offers verity of pleasure to all types of tourists having verifying tests. It is a nature lovers paradise for the over worked urbanite, it is an ideal place to relax.The air of my village fills the doting old persons with energy to spend the rest of their evening of life happily devoid of any ailments associated with old age.  Bothu village has derived it name from "Beth-pora "means a place of sitting  gaved it's by the famous Saint Hazrat Bibi Sang Arifa ( RA )who is the popular known as almaroof Ded Mooj
The Shrine Ziyaarath Shireef of HIZRAT BI BI SANG ARIEFA  (RH )almaroof Ded Mooj is laying at the centre point of this Village. . She is accompanied with two Saints namely Hazrat "NAKE"Reshi (RH )and Hazrat "Nowrooz" Reshi(RH )A centuries old Shrine in this Village has attracted visitors from the whole country because of its holiness sacredness. A myth hundreds of devotees from across contimats to thisvillage looking for grave of Moses.But a demystifying campaign about the Ded Mooj Shrine by a local religious scholar has stopped it.As they believed that Moses is buried inside it near an old tree.
